Here’s why: Almost 12/32” tread depth. Most new tires average 7/32” of tread depth. The MONSTER has at least 40% more tread life than new tires. 64 durometer tread hardness. New tires generally fall into a range of 57 to 65 durometer hardness on the tread rubber. The MONSTER tread rubber was developed to be the longest wearing compound for any general aviation tire.
