    Sales Representative

    KADEX Aero Supply is a busy aircraft parts and services distributor serving word wide clients from two locations – Peterborough and Calgary.

    KADEX is looking for a Sales Representative at its Calgary base. This full-time position offers flexibility to balance a career and family life while residing in the Calgary area.

    This ground up development position is open to energetic, curious individuals or experienced sales representatives with an eye for outstanding customer service in a strong team environment. We’re looking for a positive attitude, strong work ethic, sales mindset, goal driven and self-starter. The ability to provide advice and guidance, with skillful negotiation, presentation, and closing abilities.

    In the first three months you will…

    • Learn the KADEX process and workflow
    • Become knowledgeable on the product lines that KADEX carries
    • Follow leads and prepare quotes
    • Become familiar with inventory software (Quantum Control)

    In the first twelve months you will…

    • Execute a comprehensive prospecting strategy and manage a successful calendar of prospect-facing sales meetings
    • Convert short-term and long-term opportunity pipelines into new customer revenue
    • Negotiate and close business leads
    • Meet and exceed sales quota goals

    What you will bring…

    • Minimum 3 – 5 years of sales experience
    • Previous employment in the aviation industry, or a high level of personal interest and knowledge of aviation
    • Business degree, plus some technical understanding would be an asset
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong sales and time management skills
    • Proven customer service skills
    • Team oriented with a collaborative attitude
    • Self-motivated
    • Detail oriented
    • Valid driver’s license and passport (or, ability to attain a current passport in the future)
    • Ability to travel occasionally

    Accounts Payables Clerk (Maternity Leave Contract)

    KADEX Aero Supply is an aircraft parts supply and distribution company and is a leader within its industry. There is an immediate opening for an Accounts Payables Clerk  in our Peterborough Head Office. Though this position is covering for a maternity leave, there is potential for the transition to a full-time permanent position.

    In this position, you will work directly under the CFO and the CEO. It will also be required to work alongside staff members in other departments such as Sales, Warranty and Shipping/Receiving. Being a strong team player with good communication skills (both verbal and written) with the drive for accuracy will be the key to success in this position.

    This ideal candidate will have education and a background within Business Administration, Bookkeeping or Accounting with experience in the field. It is also required that this person has strong computer skills, fluency in English, can be well organized, have the ability to multi-task and have an understanding of SAGE or ACCPAC bookkeeping programs.

    Job Requirements and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Process invoices and credit memos
    • Processing Payments & Cheques
    • Account Reconciliation
    • Maintaining good vendor & supplier relationships
    • Monitor accounts and ensure payments are made by individual terms
    • Report Price and Quantity Discrepancies
    • Prepare Financial Reports
    • Review weekly, monthly and yearly reports
    • Perform more complex tasks required by the CFO
    • Ensure all A/P tasks are completed in a timely manner
    • Assist in returns claims and warranty situations

    A competitive wage is offered with company benefits and profit sharing. This position is Full-Time Monday to Friday.
