In 2019 Glenda Lavery, our beloved leader and CFO, died after a courageous battle with Gallbladder Cancer. Please consider joining our awareness and donation campaign during the month of February in Glenda’s memory. Raising awareness towards Gallbladder & Bile Duct Cancer is so important to us; early detection is vital, and very few people are familiar with this type of cancer.
Gallbladder & Bile Duct cancer is considered to be rare. When a cancer is rare, this often means that there can be delays in diagnosis, lack of treatment options, and lack of healthcare services that adequately understand. Thanks to you, Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Program will continue in ushering in the advent of precision oncology and providing patients and their families with hope for the future.
