    Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Under General Supervision from the Sales Manager, serve as a point of contact for multiple customers, including AOG coverage.
    • Provide quotes both written and verbal – being ever mindful of our product offering
    • Maintain a professional yet personalized relationship with customers/vendors
    • Provide technical assistance – supporting customer troubleshooting to engage product sales
    • Trade Show and customer site presentations/visits
    • Works with various departments to meet services/sales goals
    • Be engaged with the Aviation Industry and staying current with market trends and significant events

    It will also be required that this candidate:

    • Maintain a Valid Passport / Drivers License and be able to meet airside security standards
    • Ability to speak and write fluently in English
    • Advanced communication skills
    • Ability to work independently without supervision and part of a team
    • Ability to report to a variety of upper management
    • Ability to learn new software quickly and easily
    • Understand Microsoft Office Suite programs, especially Excel, Word and Outlook

    This position is a Full-Time position; Monday to Friday during the day. An hourly wage is offered to start, with benefits starting after a successful probation period.

    Warehouse & Sales Administrative Assistant

    KADEX Aero Supply is a leading aviation parts distributor currently looking for a highly motivated team player to fill a full-time Warehouse and Sales Administrative Assistant position at the Head Office located in Peterborough, Ontario

    As an assistant, the ideal candidate will need to be able to work well amongst all Kadex team members and departments. The ability to be flexible and the ability to cooperate with everyone are essential. Having strong time management skills and the ability to problem solve is important to succeed in this position.

    This position will report to the Warehouse Manager and Sales Manager, and holds the responsibility for providing administrative and clerical support to the warehouse and colleagues within this department.

    The key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Accurate data entry of inventory received
    • Creating and providing electronic documents when required
    • Corrects variances, stock, pricing on incoming shipments
    • Maintains accurate inventory in computer system
    • Processing orders for the sales team
    • Assisting customers with questions or details about their orders
    • Communicating with accounting team about shipments & payments

    The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

    • Post secondary education in Business, Administration, Warehouse Logistics or equivalent work experience
    • 1 – 3 years work experience as an administrator within an office or warehouse
    • Speaks English
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Detailed oriented
    • Excellent computer skills

    This position is Monday to Friday and an hourly wage is offered.

    Aviation Parts Shipper/Receiver

    KADEX Aero Supply is an aircraft parts distributor based in Peterborough, and a leader within its industry. There is an immediate opening for a full-time Shipper/Receiver in the Peterborough Warehouse.

    Candidates must have experience working in a warehouse with a Shipper/Receiver title. The ideal candidate will also have good computer skills, great accuracy in job responsibilities, and exceptional communication skills (both verbal & written).

    The key to success with this position will be high attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have comfort in dealing with large inventory and stock numbers.

     

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Receiving:

    • Receive and unload incoming shipments
    • Verify received shipments against paperwork for accuracy
    • Inspect items for damages and expiry dates
    • Report discrepancies
    • Place product in appropriate locations
    • General warehouse duties as needed

    Shipping:

    • Pick inventory throughout large warehouse
    • Compare inventory picked to appropriate paperwork
    • Inspect for damages, expiry dates, and report discrepancies
    • Properly prepare items for shipping
    • Organize preferred shipping method

     

    Education for Shipping/Receiving or Warehouse Management will be an asset. It will also be beneficial for the candidate to have a valid driver’s license.
